Weddings in Costa Rica have been getting a
great deal of publicity as one of the most beautiful places in
the world to get married. Due to its well-known
natural beauties, our country offers an incredible variety of
breathtaking settings to celebrate a wedding ceremony.
From impressive virgin rainforests, to spectacular volcanoes,
dramatic sunsets at the beaches, and hidden crystal-clear
waterfalls.
As if this was not enough, our country offers
all the infrastructure necessary to provide you and your guests
with the celebration of your choice. Costa Rica Tour is
able to organize anything from a formal dinner party with soft,
live music, to cocktails with live tropical music, tropical
flower arrangements, professional photographers, all legal
paperwork including marriage certificate (handled by an
English-speaking attorney at law and public notary, dully
registered in the Costa Rican Bar Association); and even your
entire honeymoon and tours for your guests. We work with
the best hotels and we have our own team of suppliers in each
area.
 Our
wedding coordinator, is a Costa Rican who has been in the
tourism business and event planning since 1994. She
decided to use her expertise in wedding planning as well, since
she organized her daughter's wedding in the year 2000.

MAGICAL RAINFOREST WEDDING
This option of a wedding ceremony is planned
to be held during the morning. You will be picked up at
your hotel in San Joe in a regular shuttle bus that will take
you to the Atlantic Rain Forest Aerial Tram. Located only
fifty minutes away from San Jose, our capital city, this park is
a sanctuary which borders the Braulio Carrillo National Park and
shelters one of the largest biodiversity in the country.
 Once
at the park, transportation will be provided to take you to the
El Mirador, where the ceremony will take place. The
Mirador is a viewpoint that overlooks the beautiful primary
rainforest of the Braulio Carrillo National Park, the setting
for your wedding.
The Mirador will be decorated with tropical
flower arrangements, and you will have a bottle of champagne and
glasses for your toast.
Afterwards, you will have the "Just Married"
ride in the tram. You will fly through the treetops or
canopy for approximately one hour. The canopy
is home to an enormous amount of flora and fauna that inhabits
the rainforest, among which are several kinds of butterflies,
birds, including toucans, parrots, woodpeckers, tanagers,
etc. You will also appreciate the different shades of
green of the exuberant vegetation all around you.
Once you are back at the main building, you
will enjoy a delicious lunch at the Aerial Tram restaurant.
Transportation to your hotel in San Jose will
be provided.

Ceremony . The ceremony will take place at the
hotel, in the deck facing the San Rafael river.

DAY 3:
|
Breakfast at the hotel and
tour to the property's natural waterfalls. This is
the perfect place to refresh oneself while enjoying the
sights and sounds of the jungle.
Return to the hotel and rest of the day free. Overnight.

DAY 4:
|
Breakfast at the hotel and
departure on a visit to Tirimbina Biological Reserve
where the visitor has the opportunity to walk the trails
of the Reserve (8 km total), visit the suspension
bridges and observe the rainforest at their own pace,
with a naturalist guide.
After approximately 2
hours and a half, you will continue your jungle trip to
Hacienda Pozo Azul, where you will enjoy a diversity of
eco-adventures in a nature rich, rainforest environment.
You may choose one of the following activities:
Horseback riding, canopy, rafting or rappel.
Refreshments will be offered during these tours and at
the end, there will be a delicious lunch served for the
hungry adventurers! Return to the hotel and
overnight. |
