I am sorry for not sending
my comments before. I want to thank you and all your staff
for such wonderful trip in Nov 2009.We were so satisfied
with the trip that we want to go back. We travel to
different places and this trip was the best one. We did not
have the chance to see the Arenal volcano due to weather
conditions but we were able to see the monkeys real close at
Manual Antonio National Park. We love Monteverde with the
Canopy, Seprentarium. I am so grateful for the last minute
arrangement to make this happened mainly in Monteverde. I
cancelled the Canopy and I changed my mind at the last
minute and you guys made it happened. It was the more
exciting experience at Canopy Extreme. My mother enjoy The
National Theater and Gold Museum. Thanks I love it and we
always remember it.

We had a wonderful time
in Costa Rica. We loved your country. It is very
beautiful, very mountainous and green. We had great
weather. It mostly rained at night, a real deluge. We
enjoyed Tortuguero. Saw lots of wild life. We also
really liked Arenal and Monteverde Cloud Forest. We saw
a lot of wild life on the Cano Negro trip. Rafael was
our driver for most of the trip. He is a very nice man.
He was always on time , usually early. We had a flat
tire and the guys and Rafael changed the tire quickly
and we were on the road again. We saw the resplendent
quetzal. A real treat. Also saw all four kinds of
monkeys, 2-toed sloths, 3-toed sloths, eye lash viper
snake, 80+birds. We also really enjoyed the food. I
had gallo pintos every morning for breakfast and loved
it. Loved all the fresh fruit. Pineapple never tasted
so good. We will certainly recommend your travel agency
to anyone we know going to Costa Rica. Also we went on
the Arenal hike and it came a downpour. We were
drenched to the skin. Then we were taken to the hot
springs and dinner. We were so shocked at the hot
springs. The resort is a 5star resort. What a treat!
We looked like drowned rats but we thoroughly enjoyed
the experience. We recommend suggesting to people to
take a change of clothes for dinner. I think our son
and daughter-in-law might be going to Costa Rica in
February. So I will give them your info. Thanks so
much for all your assistance in making our Costa Rica
trip a great experience. We had a truly wonderful time.

Moreno: This was our first trip to Costa Rica, so naturally,
we didn't quite know what to expect. Costa Rica Tours
(specifically Nidia & Luis) helped make our vacation a true
success. A friendly driver greeted us at the San José
airport and took us to a lovely B&B, named Casa Lima. The
staff was very friendly and the rooms were spacious and
clean. Our next stop was La Fortuna, near Mt. Arenal. Our
accommodations, once again, were great and with views of the
volcano. The day trips we had set up were all fabulous. From
the Hot Springs to the Rafting, everything was well
organized and without delays.
A must-see is the Manuel Antonio National Park. We have
never seen so much wild-life EVER!! We had a great guide,
Ricardo, who pointed out many birds, snakes, monkeys, etc.
You don't have to worry about the food and water. It's all
very safe and delicious!!

Hi Nidia,
I just wanted to let you know that everything went well with
our tours down in Costa Rica. The tour with ecoaventura was
really good. The driver showed up promptly and our group was
small and intimate which allowed us to have a personalized
tour guide. The other tour was a little bigger but
everything went as described as well.

Nidia....we have returned from what was the "Best" vacation ever!
We have been to Italy, Ireland, Virgin Islands, Hawaii,
Mexico (Atlantic and Pacific), and on cruises, but
nothingwas as well coordinated and felt so good as the trip
you put together for us. The coordination of the tour guides
and the transportation arrangements were flawless. The
people of Costa Rica were also most welcoming and helpful.
We enjoyed all of the sites and the places in which we
stayed .
Again....IT WAS A WONDERFUL TRIP, and thank you, Nidia, for
all that you did to arrange this trip....
I meant to write when we returned, but got busy. Wanted you to
know we had a great time and of course saw wonderful birds
including the ornate hawk eagle, snakes and sloths's! Costa
Rica is always so awesome! Donald who we had used before on
our Cano Negro boat tour was our personal guide on the
suspension bridges in Arenal and is super!!) Thanks again
and we'll use you again for a trip later this year or next
to the Osa Peninsula and back to arenal.

Bert and Nidia,
I know it has taken me awhile to email you but I wanted to,
finally, send an email to thank you for helping us plan an
amazing honeymoon! Obviously, being that it was our
honeymoon, we were very anxious that the trip run smoothly
and it was perfect! My husband is NOT a traveler - but
I think this trip may just have converted him as he
absolutely loved it! Everything went as planned (well, other
tiny glitches such as the tour bus once going to the wrong
hotel to pick us up but they sent a car out to get us and we
still made the horseback riding trip no problem).
Our favorite activities were the rafting and the coffee
plantation tour - we were the only ones at the plantation
that day so we got a private tour which was awesome!
We brought home some coffee with us and love it so much we
are planning to order more online!
The hotels were great but, by far, our favortie was Casa Turire!
We simply fell in love with that hotel and the amazing and
helpful staff and secluded surroundings - they even
upgraded us to their superior room when they found out it
was our honeymoon! It's true that the road in is
atrocious, but we both thought it was worth it for the
priviledge of staying there and we hope to go back there one
day!
Arranging a trip like this online can be stressful and we want to
thank you for your prompt and helpful service - we spoke
with many tour companies before booking our trip and you
were by far the nicest and most helpful company. We
very much appreicated being able to talk with people who had
done a Costa Rica tour to get "the inside scoop" before we
booked and will be happy to chat with anyone who is thinking
of booking a tour!

Hello Bert and Nidia, I want to add my thanks to Alyce's
message.
The trip was very good, and we are all thinking about going
back again.
I want to mention several people in particular, who helped
make the trip so good. The first was Carlos, the
driver from the airport at Alajuela who took us to La
Fortuna. He was very friendly, and I enjoyed
talking with him -- he did not seem to mind my very poor
Spanish, which made the drive to the hotel easy.
Second was our guide Cesar in Dominical, who was very
knowledgeable and very funny. I feel lucky that
he was our guide for both the trip to Corcovado Park
and Caño Island, because he was able to explain so
much and point out so much wildlife.
Finally, our driver when we left Dominical, also Carlos, was
very nice. I had a good conversation with him on
the road through Cerro De La Muerte to San Jose.
He also drove us to the airport on our last day.
I hope you will be able to continue using their services as
part of your company's bookings. I will
certainly recommend your company to our friends when
we talk about our vacation.

We have returned. A most wonderful trip. Thanks
for your help in making the arrangements. I hoped I
would be able to say that there was one instance that
captured the essence, but of course I cannot.
All that we did made the experience. One place is more
exciting that the next, and then the next. And,
many places and things not experienced that are
enticing us to return.
The weather held out for the most part, with predictable
showers during some of the days, but nothing that got
in the way. After all, it is a rain forest area!
(We left Boston in a monster heat-wave, so we were
delighted to arrive in San Jose to weather that was
pleasantly cooler than what we had had for several days
prior.) As we traveled about, I kept
thinking how your experience and knowledge
played a huge role in not only getting from one place to
another, but in your understanding of how long it
takes and how to schedule the travel in between and
the events at the places so we could make the most of
our time there. We had heard from friends that the
roads
create longer trips than would be otherwise imagined, and I
know that had we be on our own, this would have proven
to be the most frustrating part. Instead, your
plans made it easy for us.
Having the naturalists on our hikes was also wonderful, with
all but one of them going out of their way to add not
only knowledge of the locations, but humor and cheer
to our days.
We did so much and saw so much that it felt like we
had been away for weeks instead of simply 10 days.
There is much we
did not see, of course, so we look forward to the next trip.

Nidia,
I wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time in
Costa Rica. The country, and the people were an
absolute joy. It could not have been better (unless we
could have stayed longer). All of the accommodations
were well
kept, and well staffed. All the transfers went
smoothly. Miguel, and Rafael were both kind, helpful,
and informative. Ironically, the hotel that we wanted
least, Costa Verde, ended up being our favorite place. We
were
able to book all of the excursions, tours, and side trips
that we wanted to go on with ease at all of the hotels that
we stayed at.
It was such a gorgeous country. It was truly unlike any
other place that I have visited. Thank you sooo much.
Absolutely an outstanding adventure.
We are just about to go to the Airport to return to
Florida...unfortunately! What an absolutely wonderful trip!
Everything went like clock work and usually our trips have
some crazy thing go wrong...but not this one. The Volcano
was awesome and extremely interesting...we could even
hear and see the boulders coming out of it and down the
side. The hot springs was perfectly timed after the Volcano
hike. The zip line at MonteVerde was so cool and the canopy
just beautiful. My 15 yr. old son learned to surf on our
free day at the beach in Manual Antonio. I can highly
recommend Manual Antonio Surf School near Verde Mar Hotel if
you ever have clients that want to surf. We loved the coast
and will definatley come back soon. Also, the people
were just wonderful everywhere we went and the country side
extremely beautiful. Your planning and coordination was just
spactacular!! I am sorry to hear that your grandmother is
ill. I called Gustavo to also thank him.
Hi Bert,
The tour was alot of fun and the took great care to make
sure everyone was safe. Alex and Ceasar were my guides and I
would recommend them to anyone. The lunch was good and well
presented. Most everyone ordered off the Steakhouse menu and
said the food was fantastic.ted with that. I was lucky
because I had my camera and Alex took many pictures of me
and the group as we were making our way down the zip lines.
Thanks again for your help setting it up on short notice. It
was really fun!!
We arrived home last night after a wonderful trip to your
country. We would like to thank you for arranging all of
the details -- everything was great. All of our drivers met
us on time, and were very courteous and helpful. You kept
in our budget and yet each hotel got better and better! We
loved Monteverde. The De Lucia Inn was a lovely refuge --
and their restaurant's food DELICIOUS! Costa Verde Inn was
a great way to end the trip -- because travel in the
mountains takes it toll! We all had a blast and loved the
pace of the trip.
We will recommend you to all of our friends! We talked to many
people traveling through Arenal, Monteverde and Manuel
Antonio. We made notes of other places they recommended
-- so now we have another trip to look forward to.

I must tell you that my friend and I had an amazing time in
Costa Rica!!
What a beautiful country and such friendly people! The
best part has to have been the zip-line tour in Monteverde
and the warm ocean beach at Manuel Antonio. Next time
I will certainly spend more time at the beach! The
accommodations were amazing! The accommodations were
great! Gustavo was a great driver--I wish we could
have had him all week! Manuel was nice, but drove a
little crazy....although, most people do in Costa Rica!

friend and I are already thinking about going back next

Bert and Nidia, I planned to write to you earlier but we have
been busy since we got back. We enjoyed our trip and
everything came off like clockwork.
The Lost Iguana is great and we would go back and recommend it to
friends. Tabacon was amazing. Would like to have done
it in the day time.
Arenal was amazing, both at night and in the day time. We
would have liked to have gotten closer but we understood.
All in all, good value for the money and like I said, there were
no hitches with the arrangements, they came off smooth as
silk.
First of all, I want to thank you for assisting me with my
recent trip to San Jose, Costa Rica.I am always quick to
write bad reviews but not always quick to send great reviews
so I wanted to send an email and tell you both thank you.
The trip was absolutely wonderful and my mamma and I had
a beautiful time. The Hacienda Pozo Azul group were
absolutely wonderful and our driver was the utmost gentleman
and was very helpful. There was a gentleman named Roberto
who guided me on the horseback riding tour and the water
rafting and I want to make sure it gets back to his boss and
or him that he was wonderful. He is very knowledgeable of
the ecosystem, the plants, and animals and it was truly a
relaxing and educational experience that was not only
enjoyable as a tourist, but educational for someone who has
a deep respect for the environment that we live in. The
safety measures that were taken during both the horseback
riding and the water rafting trips were truly impressive. I
felt totally safe and at ease and never once came across a
negative thought. The facilities were clean and the food was
quite enjoyable. The staff were fun and energetic and they
were great. I believe that the people that we were
surrounded by truly made our trip more enjoyable because
they had such a passion and energy for their country and the
jobs they. If you are unable to get in contact with Roberto
directly (forgive me I don't have have his last name) can
you provide me with the website to the group so that I can
make sure they receive my comments? I can'not reiterate how
great they were. My mamma is 64 years old and although she
was nervous about the rafting and horses, the security
measures provided kept her at ease and she said that that
was the most fun she had in years. My dad is so jealous of
our trip that he is looking for someone to go with him and
he wants to book the same exact trip through your
agency.
The second trip to Punta Leona along the coast was also
beautiful and relaxing after a long day. Our driver and tour
guide Maxwell was so awesome and hilarious I couldn'not
imagine going on any other trip without his presence. He
explained all the sites to us and his English was very
good. He told us he had recently completed an English course
and it very well showed. He had a great sense of humor and
had us laughing the whole time. He was patient and very
informative. I don't know if he works for Costa Rica Tours
directly or with the crocodile tour agency, but he truly
needs to be congratulated on a job well done. The food was
really good and I love the fact that we were able to see
true Costa Rican life rather than usual touristy places. The
crocodile tour was amusing and exhilarating and the Punta
Leona Beach was clean and pleasant I will truly recommend
your agency to all of my friends and I can tell you already
that my father plans to book a tour with your team.

Bert and Nidia,
I just wanted to email you and tell you how much fun we had
on our vacation. I can honestly say that it was the
most fun we've ever had!
Every day seemed to be better than the day before! The
boys really enjoyed every activity we did (even the
butterfly farm was fun to them!).
The Lomas del Volcan was the most amazing place we've ever
stayed. We loved the cabins, the restaurant was good,
and the people were really nice.The Heliconia was a
different matter. We were in the newest section (we
might have been the first people to stay in this section),
which was at the top of the mountain. The climb to get to
the room was overwhelming at times. They had not completed a
walkway or stairs at the very top so we were scrambling up and down a dirt hill (wasn't too bad
until it rained). We never had hot water in the
showers. That was a little frustrating and very cold.
We loved Monteverde a lot and found a really nice
restaurant, La Palermo, across the street from the hotel.
We ate there almost every night. The canopy tour was great!
The hotel at the beach (Villa del Sueno) was really nice and
their restaurant was amazing. We did a snorkeling trip
and a riverboat trip. Both were great.
The guides who transported us places were wonderful.
They were all friendly and very kind. I knew that this would
be a once-in-a-lifetime vacation and it exceeded all our
expectations. I really appreciate the time and effort
you invested in making this a great experience. I will
recommend you to all my friends. Costa Rica was
amazing!

After 1 fantastic month in Costa Rica, we are now back in
Denmark, where the winter is cold, wet and grey. We MISS
Costa Rica!!!! And we want to go back as soon as possible!

The tour planned by you was excellent, everything just
worked out precisely as agreed with you. Everything was
ready for us, when we arrived in the different spots, which
amazed us having the Costa Rican "pura Vida" in mind.
From our travel-experience in fx. Spain, we are used to the
expression "mañana" which means that everything will be done
tomorrow or another day .In Costa Rica even appointments at
6 AM was held ,we didn't have to wait for anything.
And then the people and nature -it is gorgeous!!
We have never in our holidays met so many nice people (both
native and tourists), seen so many different animals or
experienced such varieties in nature.
Weather-wise we had both rain and hot summer, which were
great! It was raining in the cloud- and rainforest and the
sun was shining from a blue sky at the beaches-exactly as we
had hoped for.

We just returned from a seven day vacation to Costa Rica which

have to write to you to tell you how perfectly everything
went. We visited three regions of Costa Rica which required
us to stay in four different motels. The motels
selected by you were wonderful and they were expecting us
and ready for us. Your drivers met us for every move and
were on time every time. They were knowledgeable and
courteous. I wish to thank you for the wonderful
service you provide and I would recommend you to anyone
wanting to visit Costa Rica.

Dear Nidia,
We want to thank you for organizing our trip. We did arrive
in enough time to catch our return flight home. The entire
trip went very smoothly. Even though we have never traveled
before without our own car, we were very happy with the
trip. All the drivers were on time and were pleasant
company. We did end up adding a few activities when we
had free time ( horseback riding in Arenal and a night tour
in Monteverde. In Monteverde we also went to the Ranario and
the Insect Museum on the recommendation of our hotel.)
We also enjoyed Manuel Antonio even though our friend told
us she would have stayed in Monteverde longer and skipped
MA. I am glad we listened to you instead.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and plan on returning
again, hopefully next year.
In fact our daughter loved Costa Rica so much she wants to
work in Monteverde during her college summer break. She has
a list of contacts already.
Hi Nidia: We had a great
time. The weather was bad at
Arenal & Monteverde But Quepos was
just wonderful. All the hotels were
marvelous. Gustavo did a
wonderful job as our guide and
was very accommodating to our needs.
Just one piece of information
for future. The hotels don't
change currency and they don't
carry any cash either. And you
do need colones in small
denominations for tips, taxis,
etc. That was the only problem
we encountered. Thanks for your

Thank you so much for a great trip. My son, Eric, said it
was the best trip he has ever been on (and I think I agree
with him!) Everything went extremely smoothly and the
drivers were very nice. It was worth waiting a year to
get the places that we wanted to stay. We got lucky in lots
of ways - Corcovado National Park opened the day we got
there after being closed for two weeks, we had a day of
seeing Arenal, and we saw two Quetzals in Monteverde.
We added a tour to the Biological Preserve there that we
hadn't planned to do ahead of time.
We will recommend you to our friends - you were most helpful
and dependable
Our trip was FANTASTIC! Things ran like clockwork as far as
drivers picking us up for our various transportation needs,
as well as the tour operators picking us up for that day's
adventure.
Arenal Paraiso was perfect. We loved the accommodations, as
well as the various pools and the breakfasts.
El Establo was lovely with lots of room to move around the hotel.
Tulemar, nothing like the view from the restaurant or from our
bungalow. As for the beach at Tulemar, when we toured
Manuel Antonio we decided "our" beach was almost as
beautiful but without the crowds.
We loved driving thru the countryside, especially the first half
of the trip from Monteverde down to Manuel Antonio.
The jeep trip from Lake Arenal to Monteverde was equally
adventurous, and our children especially enjoyed the "store"
by the shore of Lake Arenal where they were forced to use
their Spanish to inquire about their purchases and candy
bars.
We found all of the guides to be quite knowledgeable and eager to
share their experiences with us.
Thankfully, the Iguana people (Damien and Roni) were very
pleasant and informative and fun, and we learned a lot about
rural life in Costa Rica from Roni.
Your country is beautiful, we LOVED the cosada lunches, and
enjoyed learning about lifestyles from the various drivers
and tour guides, as well as all the tours we went on.
You made the planning easy and worry free,

Returning to work is always stressful, but my memories of our
first trip to Costa Rica sustains me and brightens my day.
Thank you for the wonderful itinerary you put together for us -
it couldn't have been any better, especially for a one-week

Costa Rica-- San Jose, Arenal, Monte Verde, and Manuel
Antonio. We were pleased that all the hotels were in my

9:00 am and we were on our way. We loved Costa Rica

Thanks so much for your assistance in setting up the
transportation, accommodations, and Arenal tour for our
first night in Costa Rica. Everything was perfect.
Gustavo was at the airport when we arrived the Country Inn
was a beautiful hotel and check was easy. The hot
springs were awesome and dinner was as well. We saw
the glow of the lava on Arenal and Gustavo was a fantastic
guide who answered any questions we had. From San Jose we
traveled to Drake Bay and spent the week exploring the
rainforest and cean. It was a terrific vacation and
my son Brandon and I both want to return soon.

We all had a wonderful time, all of the activities went off

What a fantastic trip! This for sure was one of the best
trips we have every taken. It met all our expectations
and more and we feel it was a great value for the money
spent.
I must thank you especially for the information you provided
us before we left.
The packing tips were fabulous, we used everything you suggested
and needed nothing more. It couldn't have been more
perfect.
The information about Costa Rica and Tortuguero was so helpful
and made our trip more interesting and we knew what to
expect.
We were met at the airport and the transfers were trouble free.
The tour guide and tour company were most hospitable and
most friendly. Our guide had been a tour guide for some
twenty years so he was very knowledgeable and answered all
our questions.
He had a great sense of humor and I think appreciated the AA
group.
We were all very nice and appreciative and tipped generously. The
hotel in SJO was very nice, the food very good, however we
enjoyed the food at the lodge in Tortuguero better. We
can't say enough about the fresh fruits and vegetables. The
highlight of our trip was the Turtle Nesting tour we took
from the lodge. How many people in their lifetime will
ever get to experience this? The additional tour that
we took of the Poas Volcano and crater was also very nice
and we enjoyed the gorgeous views.
Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. Now we look
forward to our next AMR Travel Club trip.

Each night we drank a toast to you for arranging everything
and having it all go so smoothly. I am recommending you to
EVERYONE I know!
The ONLY thing I would suggest for the future is that you
let people know about the $26.00 per person airport
departure tax and the fact that they ONLY accept cash or
VISA.. I did not have either (I use MasterCard) and
luckily, I was able to borrow it from my brother-in
-law. Other than that it was the perfect vacation..for kids
AND adults!!!!

Nidia-- Ditto to everything my sister Jane said about how much we
LOVED everything about our trip: the activities, the

all of the above. It was truly perfect.
Costa Rica is the most beautiful place I've ever visited and we
loved seeing the land as we drove between each place; but
honestly, I have a phobia about ravines and cliffs and
winding roads. Gustavo was an outstanding driver who made me
feel relatively comfortable confronting my greatest fears!
He was absolutely terrific. Besides being a great driver, he
pointed out places of interest as we drove and he
accommodated our needs (food, bathroom, supermarket stop)
graciously.

Nidia, Thank you for wonderful trip to Costa Rica! The
entire trip was well beyond all of our expectations and
enchanting from beginning to end. From the quaint and
reserved beginning at San Gildar Hotel with very helpful
staff, to the excitement of the Sarapiqui River Rafting
Trip, the people of Costa Rica made the trip a real joy.
The drivers and guides provided were one of the
