Tamarindo beache's
packed sand invites you to take long strolls to a mangrove
estuary, where you can take a boat tour to see birds and
other wildlife, or to a rocky point to explore the tide
pools. At night between November and March, you can not miss
the spectacle of giant Leatherback Turtles laying eggs on
the beach. Tamarindo also has a large estuary that can be
visited by boat. The estuary protects an important mangrove
forest, home to many species of birds and animals.
