The tour starts with a 30-40 minutes beautiful horse back ride inside the wet forest, during the pace an explanation about the forest and its life will be given. For those that do not feel comfortable on horse back riding we can arrange to bring you up by car to the start point. When we arrive to starting point will have a training at the Canopy School some minutes after will begin the adventure of 1800 meters of cable divided in 10 platforms from different distances , will carry high tech equipment which is renovated constantly to ensure its perfect condition. Between these platforms we will find landing by rappel, hiking through two paths one 200 meters and the other 300 meters. The experience ends with a snack in our Hacienda Chirraca restaurant where will share the facts of the trip, some videos will be display with the performance of yourself.
We will recommend you to bring long pants, mountain hiking shoes, bugs repellent and sun block lotion or a hut.

  • Horseback Riding La Carpintera (lunch included):

Our park has 30 hectares where we can have:
Pasturing areas, headwaters, and waterfalls, the focus is to travel inside the wet forest through special paths designed for the horse performance, we invite you to enjoy all these natural beauties on a horse.
We have more than 20 horses, all them trained for being used for those with no experience at all. Any age people can perform this tour.

Our bilingual guides will take care, not only your security as let you know the natural history of the zone and there is always the chance to watch some birds.

The whole tour takes place in a private area away from the noise and public roads. Also we concern for the well being of our horses, the ones are release periodically to keep them healthy, rested and well feed.

The last of this tour is 2 hours, depending on the taste and time of our visitors. Due, to the length of the property, for special groups we can arrange longer and more aggressive horse back ridings, depending to the experience of the riders, all this upon request.

Turu Ba Ri Nature Park and Gondola

Turu Ba Ri is a private park that offers nature and adventure tours in a beautiful transition zone from tropical dry to rain forest.
